Temperature Range:

- ABS withstands low-temperature impact better than any other material. This is illustrated by impact testing on ABSconduit conditioned at -40ºC as compared to other materials conditioned at 80ºC.
- ABS conduit can be installed over an ambient temperature range of -40ºC to 80ºC. Power conductors rated at 90ºC and medium voltage cable rated at 105ºC are permitted for use with ABS Conduit.
Field of Application And Uses:
- Optic fibre cable, telecommunication (telephone, CATV, data transmission)
- Applications include DOT, street or airport lighting projects, coax and fibre optic cable for the telecom, CCTV security, FTTH, and CATV industries, power utility, command/control wiring for pipelines and irrigation systems, and most recently wind and solar farms.
